How to Charter

You can rent the boat “bare” (professionals call it bareboat) and sail it yourself, or request a skipper on board.

Bareboat charter with our company is the ideal solution for those with sufficient sailing experience who can independently form a crew with family or friends. It is a choice of freedom, but one that must not compromise safety. We therefore recommend this option only to those who have already taken on the role of skipper, and suggest choosing a not too demanding itinerary for the first times — and of course the appropriate boating licence is required.

If instead you prefer to leave all navigation responsibilities to experienced professionals, we will be happy to put you in touch with people who are not only expert sailors but also deeply knowledgeable about the sea and land of Northern Sardinia, so you can enjoy the entire cruise in complete relaxation.

After deciding whether to charter with or without a skipper and choosing one of our boats, it is important to contact us by phone or email and request a no-obligation option for a few days, which will give you the right of first refusal on the vessel you wish to charter.

Payments

Once you confirm your request, a booking confirmation will be sent, followed by the contract.

Weekly Charter

For weekly charters (or multiple weeks), check-in takes place on Saturday afternoon from 6:00 PM, after which embarkation follows. The boat must return to its home port by Friday at 5:00 PM for the final inspection (check-out). It is however possible to stay on board overnight until 9:00 AM on Saturday (unless otherwise agreed).

Short-term Charters

The boat may be chartered, subject to availability, for periods longer or shorter than one week, or for weekends. The charter cost is calculated as a percentage of the weekly rate.

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in takes place at 6:00 PM on Saturday, during which a member of staff will walk the charterer through the vessel in detail and note its condition at handover. Only the charterer is permitted on board during check-in. The staff will demonstrate the use and location of all onboard equipment and systems. Upon request, and if technically feasible, the company may carry out check-in earlier than the scheduled time.

Check-out takes place on Friday evening upon return of the vessel, in order of arrival, and must be completed by 5:00 PM.

This procedure, carried out by a staff member in the presence of the charterer only, consists of inspecting the vessel to ensure it is returned in the same condition as it was delivered. Check-out includes an underwater inspection carried out using a marine drone to check the integrity of the underwater hull, rudder blades, stern propeller and any bow thruster.
